We regularly achieve 2 years of reading level growth in only 20 hours of tutoring with our students. Tutoring is expensive and children need to learn to read as soon as possible. We've streamlined phonics to get your student reading now.

Many programs say that they are 'individualized' but in actuality, they conform to a rigid structure, to simplify instruction. We fit our program to each student, rather than the other way around. 

We believe that motivation goes a long way towards achieving reading goals. It's important that the student take interest in the material they are reading...and that they feel like 'real' books.

The Tattum Reading Program is comprised of 25 reading & spelling concept taught in an explicit, systematic, and sequential manner. You can find our scope & sequence here. 

Reading takes absolute priority in our lesson plan. We dedicate a full half of every lesson to reading from the very first day. It is essential that our students implement the skills we teach them by applying them in a real book.

Tattum Reading has been a 'science of reading' based program long before that term became trendy. Each step of our lesson plan is designed with the goal of stimulating specific reading centers in the brain.
